FREE PRACTICES, REQUEST FOR MATERIALS AND SPACES
Free internships:
Access to the Faculty’s workshops and laboratories for independent practice will only be permitted during designated practice hours and never when classes are being held. See the independent practice schedule at the following link: schedules .

Applications for the loan of audiovisual teaching material and for spaces in audiovisual workshops must be made through the following website: prestamos.umh.es .

Generic space request:
Access to the reservable buildings and workshops listed below, outside of free practice hours and provided that there is no teaching taking place in these spaces, will be processed using one of the following forms, depending on whether the request comes from the student or the teaching staff:
If the request is from a student, they must indicate the professor who will be responsible for the work and the use of the requested space. The professor will receive an email with the request, which, if applicable, they must forward to the Faculty ( ) indicating their authorization. Once the Faculty has verified the availability of the space, it will send a confirmation email to both the student and the professor, and will forward the authorization to the Reception Desk to facilitate access.
If the request comes from a professor, the Faculty will receive the form and, once the space’s availability has been verified, will send a confirmation email to the professor and forward the authorization to the Reception Desk so they can grant access to the authorized students. This form allows professors to attach a file so they can send the corresponding list of students authorizing a group.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENT PROTOCOL ALTEA CAMPUS
Following the adjustments to external services that came into effect on December 1, 2011 throughout the UMH, a PROTOCOL FOR ADJUSTING SERVICES FOR THE ALTEA CAMPUS was approved on December 12, 2011 by the Advisory Council of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea, which remains in force :

INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS ON CONCIERGE SERVICE ADJUSTMENT PROTOCOLS
1. There will only be one concierge per shift (morning and afternoon).
2. The new concierge hours are:
Monday to Friday: from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturdays: from 9:00 to 13:00h.
3. Opening and closing of classrooms and workshops during teaching hours. This will be done by the teacher who teaches during those hours. The caretaker and security will open and close the following buildings: Algar (Sculpture), Aitana (Painting), and Cap Negret (Drawing).
4. Opening and closing of workshops during free practice hours . This will be the responsibility of the caretaker, as well as turning the lights on and off.
5. Requests for the use of spaces outside of teaching hours and for independent practice . The caretaker will open and close the door after the student has been identified and has submitted an approved and signed request. These requests will be governed by the Fine Arts Teaching Infrastructure Regulations.
6. Use of workshop storage rooms . Precise instructions for the use of any storage room designated for student work will be posted on the door. The general rules are as follows:
– Work in progress may only be submitted and only if authorized by the professor of the corresponding subject.
– The assignments must be identified with the student’s name.
– Schedules for dropping off and picking up work:
a. During class time: the storeroom will be managed by the subject teacher and only for the students in the group that has class at that time.
b. Outside of the subject’s class hours, during the technician’s hours in that workshop: the warehouse will be managed by the technician, by verifying the student’s identity with their ID card.
c. Outside of the subject’s class time and the workshop technician’s hours: work cannot be stored or removed.
7. Access to ticket offices . These will only be accessible during the following hours, depending on their location:
– Nave Algar (Sculpture) : Accessible during teaching hours.
– Aitana Building (Painting) : Accessible during teaching hours. Not accessible on Friday afternoons.
– Montagut Building (Aeropainting) : Accessible during teaching hours. Not accessible Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
