The Calanda Studies Group (GREC) and the Calanda City Council are organizing the second edition of this competition in homage to the artist José Lamiel. The exhibition will take place at the Buñuel Center in Calanda.

Stake

Anyone over 18 years of age, of any nationality, may participate, provided they reside in Spain. Each participant may submit only one work. The theme and technique are open within the realm of visual and plastic arts.

Awards

First prize “José Lamiel”: 1400 euros, a solo exhibition with a catalogue at the Buñuel Center in Calanda, and a representative gift.
Second prize “GREC”: 1000 euros and a representative gift.
Three honorable mentions: recognition from the jury for criteria such as innovation, originality, or quality.

Exposure

The selected works will be part of a group exhibition and an official catalogue. The exhibition will be open from July 4 to August 30, 2026.

Submission deadline

The deadline for submitting the works is May 15, 2026.
