10th Alberic Open Air Quick Painting Competition

The tenth edition of the Alberic Open-Air Quick Painting Competition will be held next Sunday, May 17th. This well-established cultural event invites artists of all ages and skill levels to depict the urban environment in a single day.
Theme
This year, the competition focuses on:
“The beauty of the facades: stately homes and historic architecture of Alberic”
The works must be carried out at one of the following locations:
- San Antonio Street, 33
- San Antonio Street, 38
- Rafael Comenge Street, 13
- San Lorenzo Street, 6
- San Lorenzo Street, 30
- San Lorenzo Street, 11 (corner with Botigues Street)
The theme seeks to highlight the architectural heritage of the municipality and promote an artistic view of its historical spaces.
Categories and prizes
The competition is organized in several modalities:
Option A (Adults): (Prizes in drawing and painting materials)
- First prize: €1000
- Second prize: €600
- Third prize: €400
Category B:
- First prize: €100
- Second prize: €75
- Third prize: €50
Category C: (Prizes in drawing and painting materials)
- First prize: €90
- Second prize: €70
- Third prize: €50
- Fourth prize: €40
- Fifth prize: €25
Prize for local artist:
- €500
Participation.
The quick-painting format encourages participants to complete their work on the same day, making the event a dynamic experience that combines observation, technique, and creativity. It also allows participants to interact with the urban environment and with other artists.
The university encourages the student community to participate or come as an audience to learn about the creative process firsthand and enjoy a cultural day outdoors.
