Professor Pilar Viviente participates in an international exhibition “Art and poetry in Tribute to Venice Biennale”
28 April 2026
Professor Pilar Viviente participates in the international exhibition Art and Poetry in Tribute to the Venice Biennale, held from April 17 to May 1, 2026 at the Centro Culturale Palazzo Pisani-Revedin (Venice, Italy).
Organized by the Bicultural Community of the Americas in collaboration with the Palazzo Pisani-Revedin, the exhibition brings together international artists in a multicultural project that integrates painting, installation sculpture, graphic art, and photography. The initiative unfolds within the context of the Venice Biennale and proposes a dialogue between contemporary practices and the heritage space of a 17th-century Baroque palace.
Within this framework, Pilar Viviente presents five works from the Venice Broadway Butterflies I, II, III, IV, and V series (2026), created using digital and acrylic paint on canvas (60 × 60 cm). Her participation was recognized during the event’s official ceremony, highlighting her contribution to international artistic and cultural dialogue.
The exhibition is part of a multidisciplinary program that includes the publication of a catalogue, academic meetings and the celebration of the International Poetry Festival Word in the World (FIP), consolidating a space for exchange between art, thought and contemporary creation.
