The Faculty of Fine Arts announces the opening of the 2026 call for applications for the “Landscape of Segovia” Painters Course, a renowned initiative that brings together students from different Faculties and Schools of Fine Arts in the Spanish State in the city of Segovia.

This course offers an intensive training experience focused on landscape painting, developed directly from the Segovian environment, and promotes artistic coexistence in a unique historical and cultural context.

Scholarship characteristics.

The call for applications includes one scholarship for each student per Faculty of Fine Arts, which includes:

• Boarding school stay
• Full support
• Specialized artistic training
• Use of suitable facilities for painting practice

Note: Travel expenses are not included.

Course dates.

• Duration: from August 3 to 26, 2026
• Arrival at the residence: August 2nd (optional)
• Participation requirements

Those eligible for selection are:

• Are enrolled in the 4th year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts or are recent graduates
• They commit to developing landscape painting skills during the course
• Actively participate in training and social activities
• Please respect the rules and schedules established by the organization.

It will also be mandatory:

• Participate in the final course exhibition
• Donate one of the works created during the stay
• Donate the winning artwork if you receive any of the medals in the competition

• Artistic portfolio with at least 10 works related to landscape

Each Faculty will propose two candidates, whose applications will be evaluated by the Royal Academy of San Quirce, which is in charge of the final selection.
