The Huerto del Cura National Artistic Garden invites you to participate in its first quick-painting competition:  “The Historic Garden: Sustainability and European Inspiration .” This activity aims to unite art, heritage, and nature in a unique setting. 

Framed within the events of the 10th anniversary of the European Route of Historic Gardens and the European Day of Historic Gardens, the call invites to explore, from individual sensitivity, the sustainability and European cultural diversity that can be felt in every corner of the Huerto del Cura.

During the day, participants will create their works on site, capturing the essence of this historic garden, where tradition, landscape and botanical diversity coexist in harmony.

The jury will be made up of  prestigious professionals from the cultural and artistic field of Elche , among whom the renowned artists Mª Dolores Mulá and Sol Pérez stand out.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location:  Huerto del Cura. Carrer Porta de la Morera, 49 – Elche/Elx (Alicante)
Registration: €15 *Limited places. 

The competition includes a first prize of €2,000  and a  special prize of €1,000  for the work that best reflects the European dimension of the garden, recognizing the quality, creativity and ability to convey its cultural and landscape value.

From 4:00 pm onwards ,  the jury’s decision will be announced and the  awards ceremony  will take place  in the garden itself, in an atmosphere full of art and connection with the environment.

A unique opportunity to create, be inspired and be part of an artistic experience in one of the most emblematic gardens of the Mediterranean.
